Dr. Ashlee Valentin
Our Chiropractic Clinic on the Campus of Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park Chiropractor
Education: Baker University and Cleveland Chiropractic University
Hometown: Osborn, Missouri
Dr. Valentin was born and raised on a farm in Osborn, Missouri which is a town so small, everyone knows each other’s names and football isn’t even a thing. Coming from this upbringing, Dr. Valentin learned the importance of a sense of community and connection with others which has influenced the way she cares for her patients today. She listens to her patients as if they were the family and friends she grew up with and works with each patient on an individual level to help them achieve their personal goals.
Her path towards chiropractic started during her track and field days at Baker University. Although Dr. Valentin had much success as a track athlete, recently inducted into the 2022 Athletic Baker University Hall of Fame, she was plagued by injuries. Curious about the root of her problem, her interest in human body movement and how it plays a role in injury and pain peaked.
Dr. Valentin graduated with a major in Exercise Science and minor in Physical Education from Baker University. She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Cleveland University, graduating with highest honors of Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Valentin is an active individual and lives a healthy lifestyle. In her free time, if she is not rock climbing with her family, she is often found doing some other athletic activity. She is big on family and loves growing and developing her four children together with her husband. She is also an artist and enjoys painting and drawing when time allows. She loves how her creativity in art transitions over to her care, by allowing her the ability to modify treatments when necessary to meet whatever problems a person may face.
