HOW IT BEGAN

Founded in 2007 by Dr. Jason Moss, MyoCore treats each patient based on his or her unique needs and concerns. Our treatment plans, rooted in research and results, predominately feature Myofascial release, a unique hands-on approach for treating muscle pain.

A Note From Dr. Moss

My interest in chiropractic started in high school with a bang... quite literally. I was playing in the National AAU Basketball tournament, when I took a bad fall and injured my back. My college basketball scholarship hung in the balance, and with each missed game, I became more concerned. That was when my friend recommended a chiropractor. After just four treatments, I was pain-free and able to play in my tournament the next week – plus, I was able to keep my athletic scholarship!

It was this first-hand experience, along with the methodology of treating the whole person that drove me to become a chiropractor. The idea for MyoCore developed as an intern at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Working alongside neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons, I saw patients benefit immensely from doctors across different specialties collaborating on their care. It became my vision to create in-hospital chiropractic clinics that would provide every patient with this integrated care model.

Today, our devoted clinical care teams combine the best elements of active rehabilitative therapy and chiropractic to provide exceptional pain care for every patient. As the demand for our integrated model of care has continued to grow, so has our organization, enabling us to help more patients out of their pain and into leading happier, more productive lives. I look forward to continuing to create powerful results for each and every patient.
