Dr. Cheyne Rob
Our Chiropractic Clinic in Plano Chiropractor
Education: New Zealand College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Wellington, New Zealand
As a former NCAA National Championship tennis coach for Baylor University, Dr. Rob Cheyne, D.C.’s mission is to help treat and educate his patients on how they can function at their highest level. Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Dr. Cheyne received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at California State University of Fresno where he finished Summa Cum Laude. Afterward, he attended chiropractic school at New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Cheyne comes from a chiropractic family (grandfather, father, uncle, and sister), so his interest in the field was driven by the many miracles he witnessed during his father’s 53 years of practice. He saw firsthand the benefits of what his family was able to provide to others, as well as to him as he pushed his body to the limits with his collegiate-level tennis endeavors. In his teens, he had stress fractures in his lower back from sports, as well as back spasms, sciatica, wrist/ankle injuries from tennis, TMJ dysfunction, and Crossfit injuries. However, over time these myriad conditions were all 100% resolved with no surgery through chiropractic care and treatments.
As a MyoCore chiropractor, Dr. Cheyne is most passionate about High Performance as he loves to solve the movement patterns of each individual sport and position within that sport. He feels it is incredible to make a difference in someone’s performance as well as help them recover from injury quickly and with stability.
