Dr. Hilary Hanny

Education: Parker College of Chiropractic

Hometown: Sandy, Utah

Dr. Hilary Hanny works from a simple belief: you’re the expert on your own body. She’s known for listening hard, asking smart questions, and breaking down diagnoses in a way that actually makes sense. Patients appreciate her mix of clinical precision and genuine care — and they trust her with stubborn, long-term issues other providers haven’t been able to crack. Her experience treating veterans at the Dallas North VA Hospital strengthened that edge.

She grew up in Sandy, Utah, and while she enjoyed waterskiing, hiking, and running, her world revolved around dance. A dancer since age three, she served as President of her college dance company and later taught for several years, building a strong foundation in movement, biomechanics, and body awareness. A high-school dance injury introduced her to physical therapy, leading to work as a PT aide. Later, as a surgical technologist, she assisted surgeons across multiple specialties and served in cardiothoracic surgery as a member of the heart team. Working hands-on in high-stakes surgical environments gave her a deep, practical understanding of human anatomy and a profound respect for the body’s resilience and complexity. During this time, she developed thoracic outlet syndrome and chronic migraines that remained unresolved despite care from multiple specialists. Ultimately, she sought chiropractic care, which not only brought lasting relief but also redirected her career path and reshaped how she approaches patient care today.

Away from the clinic, life is happily loud: dancing in the kitchen with her two daughters, walking the dogs, and making room for as much family time as possible.

Dr. Hanny specializes in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, active release techniques, chronic pain management, sports injury and post-rehab conditioning, ergonomics, and prenatal care. She treats patients of all ages, tailoring care to each individual and stage of life.
