Dr. Hilary Hanny
Our Chiropractic Clinic on the Campus of Medical City North Hills in North Richland Hills Chiropractor
Education: Parker College of Chiropractic
Hometown: Sandy, Utah
Dr. Hanny believes that nobody knows your body better than you do — as you’re the one who lives there. Patients love how deeply she listens and how seriously she takes their concerns while trying to discover the root cause behind their symptoms. They appreciate how she balances technical explanations of their condition with the basic kindness and empathy about it. They’re impressed with her experience treating veterans at the Dallas North VA hospital, and her determination in the face of even the most challenging severe injuries that have been causing pain for decades.
Her kind, compassionate nature took shape at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Sandy, Utah, where she and her family enjoyed easy access to hiking, waterskiing, canyon cookouts and beautiful scenery. After physical therapy helped her manage a high school dance injury, Dr. Hanny worked as a physical therapy aide. Later, as a surgical technologist in the operating room, her daily headaches developed into bi-weekly migraines and thoracic outlet syndrome. Multiple specialists failed to provide a diagnosis or relief from severe hand and arm numbness. At her husband’s suggestion, she saw a chiropractor and was astonished at the relief she finally enjoyed. Her symptoms resolved, and to this day she rarely has headaches. Chiropractic care changed her life and inspired her to strive to do the same for others.
Wellness to Dr. Hanny is the synergy between the physical, emotional and mental self. A dancer since age three, and professional dance instructor for 8 years, she’s now teaching her daughter to dance in the kitchen, where she also instills healthy exercise and mental habits. She enjoys working out, walking dogs and making pizza, cinnamon rolls and cookies to enjoy during movie night with husband and daughter.
Since earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Hanny has been specializing in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, active release techniques, chronic pain management, corporate wellness and ergonomics, geriatric care, orthopedics, sports injury and post-rehab conditioning, as well as prenatal care.
