Dr. Keilah Brown

Education: Parker University

Hometown: Irving, TX

Dr. Brown’s patients become her family as soon as they walk through the door. They know she really cares — not only about their pain level, but about their lives: their spouse, kids and pets, their weekend adventures and newfound jokes. She gets to know the whole person so she can provide whole person care.

That supportive, light-hearted family environment is what Dr. Brown enjoyed while growing up in Irving, Texas, where her cousins were her best friends and where she was surrounded by loved ones who motivated and uplifted one another. Her most influential support and inspiration came from her mom — a strong, independent, rock star of a Nurse Practitioner who is her care giver role model.

Working in cardiopulmonary rehab after earning her BS promoted some soul searching that led Dr. Brown to a chiropractor’s clinic where she was a exercise physiologist for 2 years and discovered her calling. Today she can’t imagine doing anything else.

Wellness is a lifestyle for Dr. Brown — it requires nurturing the synergy between your physical, emotional and mental health. If you neglect one, the others suffer; if you maintain all of them equally, you’ll live a life full of vitality and joy.

Dr. Brown nurtures her own vitality and competitive nature by playing in a women’s soccer league (just as hard as she played on her Division 1 University of Southern Mississippi team) and dedicating herself to family. She and her wife strive to pass on their sports passion to their three children who are all working toward mastering Judo. Passionate advocates of local adoptions, they spend a lot of time helping others in the foster care system find the joys of parenthood like they did.

Since earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Brown has treated over 10,000 happy patients by applying her specialties: myofascial release, chronic pain management, sports injury care and post-rehab conditioning, prenatal care and pediatrics, corporate wellness and ergonomics as well as geriatric wellness care.
