Ecstatic patients have called Dr. Hanny “a miracle worker” – and not only for relieving their pain while improving their balance and flexibility. They love his affable bedside manner and the way he explains everything he’s doing and why. Patients say they leave his office not just feeling better, but understanding their body better, and knowing the “why” behind their care plan.
As the son of an Air Force Officer, Dr. Hanny grew up traveling across the country and learned early to forge new relationships with ease. Home turf for him is still Logan, Utah, where he spent many summers working on his grandparents’ Cache Valley farm and camping in the Rocky Mountains.
After a 2-year church mission, he decided to spend his life providing service for people in pain and started studying for medical school while working in an OR. Just before applying, with his sights set on becoming an orthopedic surgeon or an anesthesiologist, Dr. Hanny was introduced to chiropractic care. He fell in love with conservative neuromuscular care and realized he was meant to use his hands to provide the best possible care for patients who need it most.
Wellness for Dr. Hanny is a healthy balance of physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. He maintains his own wellness by prioritizing his family life, exercising and embracing mindful nutrition which strengthens him inside and out. Contributing to his patient’s freedom-through-healing stories brings him much joy.
After completing two bachelor’s degrees — a BS in Anatomy and a BS in Health and Wellness — Dr. Hanny earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker College of Chiropractic. He specializes in chronic pain management, corporate wellness and ergonomics, geriatric wellness, pediatrics, post-rehab conditioning, prenatal care and sports injury treatment, pediatrics, post-rehab conditioning, sports injury treatment, myofascial release techniques and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
